Waiakea Water is Putting a New Spin on Traditional Bottled Water

Head to the grocery store and chances are that you’ll be surrounded by a variety of brands of water. It can be overwhelming to choose one because most people think that all water tastes the same and is created equally. That’s not always the case. There are simply some water brands that truly care about their customers and what they are putting into bottles of water.

One of those is Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water. It’s a newcomer when it comes to the bottled water game but it’s been gaining a lot of attention. That’s because their brand is healthy, environmentally-friendly, and ethically conscious. The water also tastes good and is a great asset to your overall health. Whether you’re sipping water casually throughout the day or after a hardcore workout, Waiakea does the trick. That’s because Waiakea originates in Hawaii at the Mauna Loa Volcano. Therefore this water is rich in minerals and electrolytes. The water is also naturally alkaline with a high pH.

If that wasn’t enough, Waiakea will soon start using a fully degradable water bottle within the next year. According to Beverage Daily, the bottle will be the first of its kind. Waiakea states that the material for the bottle will take its lifespan down from 1,500 years to roughly 15 years. That’s because the bottle will be made without plastic’s traditional chemical bonds meaning it will be easier to break down over time.

The founder and CEO of Waiakea has been doing everything that he can to make sure that Waiakea stands out from the crowd as a company that is taking a sustainable approach to the issue of plastic pollution. The reason Waiakea is working so hard to stand apart from the crowd is that they generally care about the overall well-being of consumers and of the world. They know they can make a product that makes the world a little better, no matter the cost.

Aside from everything they’re doing environmentally, Waiakea also is an ethical company. For every liter of water that a person purchases, Waiakea donates 1 week of clean water to someone in need.
